Let us embrace each other’s pain so the warmth of compassion can arise between us.
– Ratu Sri Acharya Vajra Kumara Pandji Sakti –
Community is important for people. Who would disagree with that?
But it was only in Bali that I experienced what it means to be part of a community that reliably welcomes me with an open heart and without judgement.
When you confide in the right people, it becomes clear that we all have pain. No one is alone with their pain, there are always others who share it. And only those who know their own pain can be reliable for others when they are in trouble.
The picture Warmth of Compassion is the result of experiences with people who listen to me without judging or suggesting fast solutions. Trusting honesty about one’s own pain in a safe environment is the seed for closeness, deep connection and the joyful understanding that we are not alone. This is the starting point for healing.
I have experienced this myself and understood it in my heart through my teacher Jero Mangku Budhi thanks to his lectures.
