Instagram Privacy Policy

As the operator of this Instagram fan page, I am jointly responsible with the social network Instagram (Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland) for the protection of your data. Facebook assumes responsibility for the areas of information obligations (Art. 12 – 13 GDPR), rights of data subjects (Art. 15 – 22 GDPR) as well as data security and reporting of data protection violations (Art. 32-34 GDPR). You can find Facebook’s data protection information at www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation and the Instagram terms of use here: www.facebook.com/help.instagram.com/581066165581870.
You can contact the Facebook data protection officer via the online contact form provided by Facebook here.

I operate the Instagram page solely to draw attention to my services, projects and activities and to contact you as a visitor and user of this Instagram page (and my website). You can find more information about my company and my activities on my website. I am not interested in further collection and processing of your individual personal data for analysis or marketing purposes.

Processing of personal data by Facebook

I am aware that Facebook processes user data for the following purposes:

  • Advertising (analysis, creation of personalized advertising)
  • Creation of user profiles
  • Market research

Facebook uses cookies to store and further process this information, i.e. small text files that are stored on the various end devices of the user. If the user has a Facebook profile and is logged in to it, the storage and analysis also takes place across devices.

The privacy policy from Facebook and the Instagram’s privacy policy contains further information on data processing. You can send a request to the data protection officer at Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/540977946302970. Information and settings for privacy on Facebook and Instagram can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/1994830130782319 .

The transmission and further processing of personal data of users in third countries, such as the USA, as well as the associated possible risks for users, cannot be ruled out by me as the operator of the site.

Purpose of the processing

Among other things, the processing of the information is intended to enable Facebook to improve its system of advertising, which it distributes through its network. On the other hand, it helps me, as the operator of the Instagram page, to obtain statistics that Facebook generates on the basis of visits to my Instagram page. The purpose of this is to control the marketing of my activity. For example, it allows me to learn about the profiles of visitors who appreciate my Instagram Page or use applications on the site to provide you with more relevant content and develop features that may be of greater interest to you.
To help me better understand how my Instagram Page can help me achieve my goals, demographic and geographic analyses are also generated and made available to me based on the information collected. I can use this information to serve targeted interest-based advertisements without immediately knowing the visitor’s identity. If visitors use Instagram on several devices, the collection and analysis can also be carried out across devices if they are registered visitors who are logged in to their own profile.
The created visitor statistics are only transmitted to me in anonymized form. I do not have access to the underlying data.

Please find the Instagram terms of use at www.facebook.com/help/instagram/581066165581870 and the other conditions and guidelines listed there at the end.

Legal basis and legitimate interests

I operate this Instagram page in order to present myself to the users of Instagram and other interested persons who visit my Instagram page and to communicate with them. The processing of the users’ personal data is based on my legitimate interests in an optimized company presentation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
