Pura Dalam temples are dedicated to Shiva, the destroyer. Therefore, ceremonies related to death are held in the temple.
In Pura Dalam temples ceremonies are held that are related to death.
However, since it is one of the three mandatory village temples, it is visited for prayer on holidays like the other two, Pura Pusa and Pura Desa.
Already as a child I was drawn to graveyards. Growing up with my grandma, we went often to the graveyard to take care of the graves of relatives and my grandmas friends. I liked these visits. It is so calm on graveyards.
In Bali the graveyards are separated from the Dalam Temples but the energy is similar calm. I enjoy the peace and the equinimity that is present there.
